Two Polish Girls

I seem to have bought up a sizeable amount of a Polish photo album recently... this was taken in 1941 and  you can't help but wonder what happened to these two girls.

The harvesters

I think that this is a perfect picture for the first day of September... there's an address in  County Durham on the back, but it was never sent. I also like this because it shows work that perhaps doesn't happen in the same way any more.
