I'm a writer and teacher who lives by the English Channel. I've always been a bit of a history buff and a lot of my interests are centred around women's role in society.
I became interested in old photographs after seeing pictures of a great-great aunt as a child, as well as old relatives that no-one knew anything about. Last summer, I was in a junk shop with my aunt when I discovered a box of old photos. I picked a few up, not really sure what I was going to do with them- and the idea for this blog was born! Since then, I've picked up more photos and it's kind of become an obsession...
