I am 90% sure this was taken in Lyme Regis. That walkway along the back has disintegrated now, leaving those odd triangular steps in situ. You used to be able to walk all the way to Bridport, but now you have to do it all along the beach and hope you don't get cut off by the tide! That said, the tide here seems to be coming in at 90 degrees to how it comes in now, so maybe I'm totally wrong!
